Walking around Oktoberfest

The traditional Oktoberfest didn't start before Saturday. Everything was still in preparation there, but it was possible to walk around to get a first impression. Jordan and I went for a little walk around when we came back from the historical part.

It was so funny to be in an almost empty beer tent (you never have that during Oktoberfest). Everything still smelled so new...



Although there wasn't anything going on, many other people already had a look!


In the tent where the mayor always is tapping into the first barrel...I bought Jordan the gingerbread heart that says "I love you"


The slogan of the brewery whose beer is sold in that tent is: Heaven of the Bavarians. That's why there's always that nice blue sky with white clouds on the roof...

In the "Hofbräu"- tent. It is famous for the decoration: real hopps!





This tent is famous for the grilled ox...
