So, this is the picture that I took right after Manuela woke me up at 5:45 am to tell me that her water had broken. I wanted to capture the moment right before everything went crazy that day. We got to the hospital at 6:30 and went into a room where they were timing her contractions with a machine. They were about every four minutes apart, so they took us into another room. The contractions were getting stronger and so we moved again into another room which was the actual delivery room. After a total of three hours of pushing and much pain, our little Emily arrived at 9:22 am. She is 6 pounds 8 ounces and 19.3 inches long.

I want to come do a photo shoot! She is SO beautiful!!! Come home soon. She needs a snuggle from her Aunt Natalie! :o)
