The Dance of the Schäffler
A legend says that after the plague in Munich was over and nobody still wanted to leave the house the "Schäffler" (they make barrels) were the first one who went out on the street and danced. So they encouraged everybody to go outside and showed that nobody had to be afraid anymore. Now it's tradition that Schäffler groups dance every seven years. They came to Ottobrunn where we live and to see them we only had to cross the street!
Marching in...

They do a very nice choreography...

A crown!
That was cool...the guy was swinging around that ring that had filled shot glasses in it and nothing dripped!

There are these clowns going around who paint hearts on people's cheeks!
A little speech!
And then he drank the shot...well, he deserved it!
Emily and Jordan with hearts on the cheek and Jordan also got something on his nose!

And all of us!
