Summer Fire

It's a tradition here to have a big summer fire in the end of June or beginning of July. almost all communities around here have one and so did Ottobrunn, where we live. It took place just a few metres away from our apartment. It's organized by a club of young guys who are responsible for a lot of Bavarian traditions. Around the fire there's a big party with barbecue, drinks and music. We had a so much fun!

There was so much smoke in the beginning!

But later the fire was great...the firemen always had to take care that nothing happens...


After a while the pile collapsed...

It got so hot that people had to leave the places near the fire and some put the tables up to be protected against the heat!



Even from that distance it was still so hot...our faces were so red and we were sweating a lot!


The poor musicians had to play so close to the fire!





The next morning we went there when we took Jimmy for a little walk...


That's what's left...but there was still a little flame!
