Jordan took these pictures one year ago when he was visiting me for the first time. I showed him my school, the Oskar-von-Miller-Gymnasium, which is located in the city center of Munich. It is a really beautiful old building. I learned to be a teacher there...I love to be a teacher. Sometimes it is so hard but in the end there's always something that shows you why you want to do that, like yesterday when a girl told me that I was such a good teacher. I was always grateful to do what I do. It was a lot of work to come that far: I went to school for 13 years and to university for another five. I had to be a teacher-beginner for another two years and make another big exam during these years. Finally I can call myself a teacher, actually I could start at any school now. The reality is: I can't. The state wants to save money and they prefer to put beginners in the open positions because they earn just a little money. In the group of people that learned with me we are 23 people, 11 got jobs. I'm not one of them...I'm now sending many applications to private schools. Wish me luck because I don't want to be unemployed. This can't be it...
