This is King Ludwig II., the one who let built Neuschwanstein Castle. He was a really romantic guy who loved pretty castles and operas but not so much his job as a king. People loved him and Bavaria still loves him. He is our "fairytale king"...
He died in a very mysterious way, probably he was killed, officially he drowned in the Starnberger Lake. We visited the seplucre where Ludwig and the members of the Bavarian royal families are lying...
This is Ludwig's coffin. He still gets flowers. His picture is in the background.
This big room with all these coffins can really give you goosebumps...
